The Added 9/10th's Cost of Sin

Have you ever seen the price at the gas pump? We read it & have been conditioned to think that the gas cost only the big bold numbers. For instance, 3.50 per gallon. But there is actually a hidden cost that we forget about. The gas station also charges 9-tenths more per gallon...that's an 'added' or 'hidden' cost that we know about, but just look the other way...we forget about that cost...WE ARE ACTUALLY PAYING MORE for the gas, & although it's not much, it does add up over time. ..sin is like that, it ALWAYS costs us more than what we think. There is always that hidden cost that is associated with sin that will always be paid (Galations 6:7), but we've been conditioned to NOT think about it. We do it anyway. Sin ALWAYS costs us. The cost could come at the expense of our integrity, honesty, our safety, a relationship, an attitude, and ultimately...our peace. In Genesis Ch. 3 we see that Adam & Eve disobeyed God & ate the fruit of the tree that God told them not to. No big deal right?? WRONG....now disease, destruction, & death entered the world. Now..... "the fruit of [this] choice would bring bloodshed, perversion, destruction, sorrow, death, and disease into his family [& into our world]." (1) And the worst 'hidden' cost was that man would now be separated from God & live in depravity without Him. ((praise the Lord for His Son's sacrifice to bridge the gap)) Don't forget about the hidden 9-tenths cost of sin.

Ok, I'm Serious This Time...

Hey everyone, I'm serious this time... I'm going to start 'blogging' again on all kinds of things!!! I've already got a list ready of what to Blog about. I'm going to try to keep each post short enough to where it can be read in 2 minutes... then I can post "check out my 2-min. read blog". I mean, seriously, no one wants to read an entire novel on a blog right??? Anyway, it's been since May 2012 since I've posted anything.... time to change, this is my voice on an array of subjects. Grab a cup of your favorite coffee or tea, read the posts, & then comment...you can even post anonymously if you want to (but you don't have to though) Greg

Friday, May 11, 2012

OK, it's been a long time.....but now the link for this blog is on our new church website, so I want to maintain & post more frequently. Thanks for 'tuning' in. Grab a cup & chat with me (via comments of course) We have a lot of state & local elections coming up & we have a BIG election coming up. We are going to be voting for whom will fill the position of the President of the United States of America. Do America a favor....take some time, do some research...& find out what the issues are, where the different candidates stand.....don't just take the news corporations word or soundbytes & base your 'vote' on that or simply by what your friends are doing. The news media is just ridiculous anymore only reporting based upon their own agendas. Perhaps that is why print media subscriptions is declining. If you are a believer, it is up to you....you have a very important vote. Find out the issues & what God's Word says about them. When is comes to voting (along with life in general as well), Psalm 119:105 give us great advice: 'Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path'

Do We Need To Suffer More in America As Christians?

You know that is a very tough question. Here is an even tougher statement: I believe that we need more persecution as believers in America!!! WOW, why would I say such a statement? There is such an attitude of complacency in the American church today that it is NOT funny. We treat & are more committed to our secular jobs than we are the church. Some of the reasons & excuses that we use to 'miss church' or keep us out of church WOULD NEVER fly if used in our jobs. We would get fired or lose our jobs quickly. Why then do we do that? BECUASE WE ARE COMFORTABLE & HAVE MADE IT TOO EASY. We say things like, "oh, I can miss a couple of weeks of church, or Bible study & it won't hurt me at all". Now, don't misunderstand...I'm not talking about legitamate reasons for missing... but I have noticed complaceny everywhere...even reading about how a HUGE church in Phoenix, AZ let their pastor go bc/ he didn't preach a soft enough message.
The consumerists mentality has permeated the Christian believer in America. There is a lot of "pick & chose" when it comes to church, Bible study, worship style, etc. "what can I get out of this" is an attitude that just doesn't fly. We should say, "God what are speaking to me & how can I grow in You".
When you look at the growth of believers in foreign countries & you look at the state of teh American church...you see a HUGE difference. Why is the International church growing more rapidly than the American church? I think that it bc/ they face persecution, suffering, ridicule a lot. You face disappearing forever in China if you are found to have a Bible. Just read any magazine from the Voice of the Martyrs Ministry. When you look at the early church, they faced persecution DAILY yet, it also says that they met in each other's house DAILY...they shold their posessions to help out each other & the poor....and God added to their numbers!!! Today, we have believer's in America who come to church for 2 hours, leave & have NO CONNECTION with the Body of believers at all all week, & then come back the next Sun for 2 hours & they think that is ALL that they need. NO, it's not. Wow, I bet if you went to a country that it was illegal to be a Christian & they were holding a meeting...THEY WOULD BE THERE.
Jesus said He woundered if He would find faith when He comes back in Luke 18:8....wow, I really wonder sometimes how many 'believers' would stand & worship if a serious wave of persecution came to America... how many would 'fall away' because it's not comfortable anymore.
Nobody wants persecution....not at all, & I LOVE OUR FREEDOM...but I do think we have gotten too comfortable in the American church. GOD CHANGE OUR HEARTS!!!

My Grandpa Ball

He fought the fight & finished his race (as the Apostle Paul writes) this past week, last Thursday to be exact.

What a man... I've never really mat someone who combines gentleness & firmness together the way he did. He was a GREAT man that is for sure. My grandfather, grandpa George, on my dad's side of the family died nearly 20 - 25 years ago. My mom's mom, Grandma Ball, passed approximately 15 years ago.

I feel that everytime a person from my grandfather's generation passes we REALLY lose a BIG piece of history. Imagine what their lives used to be like compared to today...no television, no cable tv, no cell phones, not even telephones the way we have them today, the cars were nothing like today, education, $$, you name it...
...but it seems, with stories & pictures that life was a lot more simple back then. Wow..was a generation. We can really learn a lot from those of this generation that are still alive.....they amaze me.

Jesus Is Our Greeter

My grandfather just passed away & I will probably put up another blog post about that after this one, but....something hit me during his memorial service. The minister spoke about a personal story of someone that he knew that while they were sitting on their deathbed they looked up & started smiling.... he believed that this person saw Jesus.

I have heard stories such as this example before.... people looking at the corner of the room, smiling, laughing, etc. just before they passed.

Think about it... we joke & charicturize that the grim reaper comes for those who have passed & we often think that angels come to get the believer that passes & that they are escorted to Heaven for eternity. But what does the Word say?

The Apostle Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 5:8 that "to be absent from the body (physically in death) is to be present with the Lord."-- no waiting period, no room to go into & wait, no welcoming committee..no, IMMEDIATELY with the Lord!!

Jesus says in John 14:2 "I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you would be also" -- does this verse say that He will send an angel?

NO, it says that He will come & receive the believer HIMSELF!!! I just think that is AWESOME!!!

Have you experienced TRUE REVIVAL??

You know, sometimes we have the wrong understanding of what revival means. We think that revival is getting loud & crazy for God or having a service of great emotion & crying out to God. These services are great & incredible...& lives do get changed in these... but is this what constitutes revival?
REVIVAL is all about an INWARD CHANGE, but too often... we really have the OUTWARD down pretty good. We can clap, sing, shout, & get 'happy' in God yet not really allow God to change us on the INSIDE.
When we examine the revival that took place in the Israelites in Nehemiah 10:29 until the end of the chapter & the early church in Acts 2 we see 6 markers of TRUE REVIVAL: (1)There will be genuine repentance in your life (2)you will have a new love for your brothers in Christ & strive for unity (3)You will have a new love for the Word of God & want to know everything that it says (4)You will begin to live a separated life from the world (5) You will have a renewed sense of worship & a primary fact of that worship is that you will become a faithful giver of tithes & offerings (6) YOU WILL PRODUCE LASTING SPIRITUAL FRUIT. I spoke on this topic in much more detail & you can hear it at http://opendoorcommunitychurch.podbean.com & go to the 5-23-10 message.
WE NEED TRUE REVIVAL!!!

"I'm Offended"

There is something that has been on my mind this week & I spoke about a portion of it this past Sunday in my message. I feel that a culture of "offense" between each other has been created for quite a long time in the 'modern' church. You can go to many churches in America & find believers who have been "offended" by someone, or something, or a group of people within the church, and as I mentioned Sunday there will be people who hold grudges for 5 years, or 20 years..... they will stop attending a certain church because of "offense".... they will wound a brother or sister in Christ by their words or actions instead of taking that matter to the brother or sister... 'they just get offended'

...all kinds of crazy and silly actions.

DOES A CHRISTIAN BELIEVER HAVE A RIGHT TO BE OFFENDED by another believer?

DOES A CHRISTIAN BELIEVER HAVE A RIGHT TO HOLD OFFENSE over another believer?

..quite frankly, Biblically....no. A Christian believer does not have the right to be offended & hold offense.

"What?? no... but Greg you don't know what they did....you didn't hear what they said...you didn't see how they left me out"

--why would I say that above... how come we can't hold offense??

...look how Jesus answered Peter in Matthew 18:21-22:
21 Then Peter came to Him and said, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?"
22 Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

Matt 18:21-22 (NKJV)

--PETER THOUGHT THAT HE WAS BEING VERY, VERY GENEROUS BC/ THE RABBIS TAUGHT THAT YOU ONLY HAD TO FORGIVE A PERSON 2 OR 3 TIMES.

--Peter thought that he was the man.... "I'll forgive them 7 times......that seems overly generous"

--Jesus said, "no Peter...you've got to go way above that... how about 490 times!!!"

--we gave up our right to hold offense when we gave our lives to Jesus & He calls us to forgive

--GUYS, holding offense & being 'offended' is a SELF-CENTERED response that shows P-R-I-D-E because the focus is TOTALLY internal....it's not on the brother or sister... I don't care what they did or didn't do.... you are called to forgive them

--it's pride whenever you say "I'M OFFENDED".. notice who is offended? "I'm".. there is a big letter 'I' there.

--we are human, & WE WILL get offended.....for sure... so what are we to do?

....FORGIVE THEM IMMEDIATELY

...GO TO THAT BROTHER OR SISTER IMMEDIATELY & GET IT TAKEN CARE OF if you need to

--don't run to your spouse, don't run to another group in the church, don't tear down with your words (we will ALL give an account for what we have spoken -- Hebrews 4:13, Romans 14:12-13)

....when we get offended we are NOT forgiving... & the Word is VERY, VERY clear on not forgiving...just read a parable that Jesus told Peter & the Disciples immediately after Peter's question in Matthew 18:23-35

'there was a king who forgave one of his subjects from $$'s owed, & then this subject went out from the king & saw a guy who owed him less than what he owed the king, yet HE WOULD NOT FORGIVE HIM"... not good!!!

--when you tell someone else... "they really offended me" .. you haven't forgiven them... that's not a forgiving attittude

--gang, if God can forgive our sin, self-righteousness, & imperfections, WE HAVE TO FORGIVE EACH OTHER.

--that is why there are many churches divided, not powerful in the Lord, & not effective... because they have let the enemy come in & USE each other to divide. GOD CANNOT STAND DIVISION IN THE CHURCH.

--we are called to encourage each other...

19 Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another Romans 14:19 (NKJV)

11 Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing. 1 Thess 5:11 (NKJV)

--I see no place of offense in these Scriptures....

--there really is NO place in the believer's life or in the church for us to BE OFFENDED at each other for when we do & allow this we are totally showing UNFORGIVENESS.

--now I know that this is kind-of 'counter-cultural' especially in the church.... but it's the Word!!!

there is no place for this kind of attitude in the church...it's childish junk!!!
The enemy can use it to bring division, but GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN US, than he that is in the world.(1 John 4:4)

Pro-Choice?? really...

Why does it seem as if many that are on the 'pro-choice' movement aren't really for 'choice' at all if it means that you 'choose' to birth the child that is in the womb?? I mean, there were groups that really got mad that CBS decided to air the ad where Tim Tebow's mother testified that she decided to 'keep' Tim before he was born. That was a choice....a choice to keep. Why can't 'pro-choice' be equated to CHOSE TO KEEP A CHILD & BIRTH HIM INTO THE WORLD??

Peyton is the greatest football player ever...imo

I think that when it's all over & Peyton Manning retires he will go down as the greatest player to ever play the game. I think he will surpass all other QB's, RB's, WR's, defensive players, as well as the other positions. His mental work ethic is better than most coaches. Hopefully he will win this weekend's superbowl game, giving him 2 rings, & then at least one more before he retires. I believe that will catapault him as the best NFL player (besides, imagine all of the records that he'll have by then). Well, just my opinion....

The Best Shaving Cream in the World??

This post is especially for the guys out there. I have used a lot of shaving creams & would usually get the aerosol type at Walmart. Guys, I have to admit that I tried some of the "guy" line items at Bath & Body Works (the guy's stuff is usually way back in the back corner making you go through the entire store) & I saw this shaving cream & thought I would give it a try. It's incredible... it's an Italian formula & has eucalyptus oil in it. It's not aerosol & looks like you would use it in a day, but it takes very little, it suds quick in your hand, & the oil really gives a fresh tingle for about half a day. It's only $5... try it
****never mind this post... after using it for some weeks.. I have changed my mind in complete entirety...sorry

Our Passion

We are created with many passions. Some use them for bad purposes & get themsevles into a lot of trouble. We should turn our passion towards God & let that passion become integrated into every part of our lives. David was a warrior & a king. The passion that he had for God was incredible. He mentions in 2 Samuel 22:30 that with God he can go against any troop & with God he can leap over anywall. Talk about the original superman. David had a passion for God that enabled him to go against massive armies & do incredible things as the king.
Sometimes we look at the lack of committment from people to God & the things of God (prayer, Bible reading, regular church attendance, giving, etc.) & wonder what's going on. We will even chalk it up to our culture, society, how busy everyone is, & things like that in general. There is a solution & it's not by giving someone a book or starting a new program or yelling at the top of our lungs. The solution has to do with our passion for God.... quite simply... THERE IS A GREAT LACK OF PASSION FOR GOD & it's not integrated into our everyday lives.
People are really committed to what they are passionate about. They will sacrifice, place a high priority on, & even go out of their way to make sure that what they are passionate about happens. People aren't committed to God or the things of God because there is a lack of passion for God. Otherwise.... you couldn't keep them out of God's House, you couldn't keep them from giving, or sharing their testimony, or using their gifts & talents for God's kingdom and that passion would intgrate into everything.... their marriage, their children, their workplace, their social outlets, etc.
What are you passionate about? Too many peopel today are more passionate about their education, their kid's sports teams, climbing the ladder of success, their hunting, their sports teams, their cars/boats/etc., and their hobbies & interests to name a few than they are to God. Sadly, it showing in our culture & society.
Let's get passionate for God & integrate that passion in everypart of our life so people will see it!!!

The Loss Of A Dear Friend & Fellow Brother

I just got word yesterday that a very good friend of mine who was also a frat brother died from complications of the H1N1 virus & pneumonia. He was only about 35-36 years old (I believe.. maybe a bit younger). I followed his brother's updates on facebook over the last few days. His brother Mark is a fellow pastor in Kentucky. I have been kind of rivoted to my facebook page looking for updates on Kevin. It's really hard to beleive that his earthly life is over. Death always makes us take stock in what is 'really going on'. We get so used to the everyday routine down here that we forget to view things through the lens of Scripture. We are just pilgrims headed to our 'real' home. This life here on earth is just a journey of trust, faith, & love in Jesus Christ.

21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. 23 I feel torn between the two, because I have a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far, Phil 1:21,23 (NET)

Paul....realized that heaven is much better than earth & really desired to just be done with earth & flesh & get on to glory. He stayed, thank-the Lord, & wrote many letters that we are reading & living by today that are included in God's Word.

My friend Kevin JUST GAINED what we, as believers in Christ, are striving for. He gained... he didn't lose... he didn't give up... HE GAINED & He is worshiping the Father.

The death of a believer is not "good-bye", it's just "we'll see you very soon"

The Lord is coming soon.... take advantage of everyday... hug your spouse & kids, tell someone that you love them... don't take people or things for granted....

live this journey in such a way that the Father will one day say "you believed in my Son, you lived for me the best you could, good job"

God bless, Pastor G....... Kevin, we'll see you soon
(pray for their family)

Are You A Haunted House?

Jesus said a puzzling little parable in Matthew 12:43-45 about a spirit going out of a person, then it coming back in with 7 times more evil than before. WHAT WAS JESUS TALKING ABOUT?? He was talking about what the Pharisees & Scribes (the religious leaders & elite) were doing at the time & what we do today all too often. They had decided that since they no longer served idols like they used to & they kept the oral law very religously they were 'clean', 'safe', 'pure', & 'holy'. Jesus said... NO, you have swept up & cleaned the outside, but the INSIDE IS JUNK & that's not going to cut it. That is what happens to many today... they clean up on the outside, they look good, they try to be holy & righteous in their own strength, but there has NEVER BEEN A TOTAL REBIRTH & change of the heart through Jesus Christ & the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus looked at the Pharisees & said "there has been reformation, but no REGENERATION". That is what we need..that is what the person srtuggling in the world needs... REGENERATION... not reformation. That is why some will struggle with sins over & over & over again.. only to fall into it time after time after time. They usually are trying to 'clean up' themselves instead of running to God & saying "change me on the inside through your Spirit". Don't just clean up & look good on the outside... be changed from withing. The Gospel work is from inside to outside, NOT outside in. You also can't clean a fish until you catch it... so don't expect people to fix their problems & situation before they come to church.... let them come JUST AS THEY ARE to meet a Savior ready to heal them!!
Pastor G (you can listen to the sermon on this on our website odky.org)

It's time to blog again

Ok, I haven't blogged in a while, but now that I am posting it on our church's website I've got to keep up with it & that is what I shall do. My brother even called me yesterday & told me I've got to update it if I'm going to post on it. So here we go... there will be more post, there will be more info, & hopefully more stuff to chat about... enjoy & chime in
..go throught the archives & check out some of my older, orginal ones...especially the "breakthrough diet".. I believe that would be amazing if everyone joined in that one

Where is our devotion????

You know.... It seems like in this day & age that the things of God are so easily put right in line with everything else that goes on in our lives. We keep them equal with our jobs, success, hobbies, interests, loves, & desires.

Many times we put a higher priority on things that have NO ETERNAL value than on those things that have a high eternal value. What is up with that? Where did we go wrong? Jesus said, "where your heart is, there your treasure is" (my translation). Is our hearts on God & the things of God.......the church, His Word, the fellowship of the believer, our quiet times with Him, allowing His presence & Spirit to TOTALLY SATURATE EVERY AREA OF OUR LIVES.

Here is what is sad....... many times we do not let ANY KIND of excuse keep us from the things that we really love, and we will make GREAT sacrifices to make sure we enjoy or do those things.....BUT, when it comes to church or the Lord, many excuses keep us from doing what God has called us to do, or even to committ to the church on a regular basis...

WOW...That is something that I have to work on as well....... We will all stand before the Lord & have to give an account of our lives.....what's He going to say "well done good & faithful servant" , or "I don't even know you"? I want to be counted FAITHFUL, don't you?

A NEW BREAKTHROUGH DIET....

I propose a new diet for the world in recent light of the 'mad-cow' disease, & 'bird-flu' scare..........CEREAL..... ALL DAY, ALL NIGHT....for breakfast, supper, & lunch...you get your vitamins, fiber (depending on what cereal), & calcium & vitamin D with milk.....

....CEREAL....I think they need to make auto fuel out of cereal, all the restarants could seel 'gormet' cereal, cereal & coffee shops, etc. DOESN"T IT SOUND GOOD??? It's 12:18 am, I'm going to get a bowl RIGHT NOW... c-ya
Pastor G

Steroids in baseball is sad....

I just simply think that it is sad. I like to joke that the only steroid that Babe Ruth used was beer & steak. I say give the records back to the GREAT old ballplayers who held them for so long (unless the records were broken by "non-juiced" players). I simply think it is a joke......kick them out...no 1st strike, 2nd strike nonsense.....they all know what's going on......kick them out..... I just shake my head at the whole situation...... see in golf....steroids will not help you, it might help you drive the ball, but you've still got to chip & put :)
AND I KNOW what some are saying....."well, they've still got to hit the ball" <--this a="" amp="" an="" are="" back="" ball="" best="" br="" but="" during="" guys="" have="" heard="" hit="" hitting="" hold="" i="" interview="" is="" it="" lasorda="" ll="" maybe="" minute.....i="" now="" of="" on="" out="" popping="" say="" sum="" the="" there.....="" they="" to="" tommy="" track="" true="" up.....="" up="" used="" warning="" were="" when="">
"sad day, sad day...."

A "new" school Prayer

This was written (supposedly) by a kid in Arizona.......he wrote it because the word "God" cannot be mentioned in most public schools anymore......... isn't it sad....
"Now I sit me down to school. Where praying is against the rule. for this great nation under God, finds mention of Him very odd. If Scripture now the class recites, it violates the Bill of Rights. And anytime my head I bow, becomes a federal matter now. Our hair can be purple, orange, or green, that's no offense; it's a freedom scene. The law is specific, the law is precise. Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice. For prayin in a public hall, might offend someone with no faith at all. In silence alone we must meditate, God's name is prohibited by the state. We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks, and pierce our noses, tongues, and cheeks. They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible. To quote the Good Book makes me liable. We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen, and the 'unwed daddy' our Senior King. It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong, we're taught that such "judgements" do not belong. We can get our condoms and birth controls, study witchcraft, vampires, and totem poles, but the Ten Commandments are not allowed. No Word of God must reach this crowd. It's scary here I must confess. When chaos reigns the school's a mess. So, Lord, this silent plea I make: Should I be shot, my soul please take! Amen"

Bush...is our president, thank God

You know, I am really getting tired of many blaming Bush for the New Orleans disaster. Yeah, the federal government made some mistakes, & they have admitted & acknowledged those.........
but what about the government of Louisianna, & the city itself......how long have they known the levees were bad..... I heard on the radio yesterday that they had known & been told about the faulty levees for something like 35 years.......and what about the buses that they had that just sat there, couldn't they have been used to evacuate people. It's just so absurd in my opinion. There comes a time in natural disasters where you have to "look out for yourself". You can't wait for the governnment to do something for you in those instances......and really evacuating in something like that would seem to be a "state" & "city" issue. They were warned days in advance.
......I also heard yesterday that a college female thought that Bush was using the NSA 'spying' NOT for national safety and security, but simply because of HIS EGO........wow, that is a great assesment..........some in Congress do not care about national security, ONLY WHAT THEY CAN POLITICIZE........we have seen that at the Coretta Scott King funeral. I loved listening to Att. Gen. Gonzalez's testimony before the committee concerning the NSA taps.......he listed past presidents, all the way back to Washington, that intercepted communications, checked wiretaps, read correspondance, etc. in order to know what the enemy was doing & planning......Wilson wanted to read EVERY telegraph that came in & out of this country if I heard the testimony correctly.........what is different here? Like I said before, Bush & the government isn't listening to my grandparent's phone calls, or somebody like that.......my opinion......Keep up the good work Pres. Bush, I'm praying for you!

Keeping Us Safe....

You know, I am really getting tired of certain elements in our country really hounding the President over the spying of the NSA. The way they make it appear & seem is that the government has been spying on 1,000's upon 1,000's of Americans. Have you been listening people. The one's that have been 'spyed' upon are those who are 'suspected' of terrorism or links to terrorists groups. It's not like the government is tapping into EVERYBODY'S phones & communication......#1 there is not enough man-power to do that, & besides, WHY WOULD THEY???? Talking about your boring job......or a job that would get VERY tiresome after a while. I mean really, what would the government benefit from tapping into my grandmother or grandfather's home telephone??? To see how my grandpa's purebread hounds are doing? NOW IF THERE IS A SUSPECTED LINK TO A TERRORISTS GROUP, then that's another question isn't it? We have to realize the time in which we are living in. I think that in order to be safe, we are going to have to give up some of our priveldges. I don't think anybody's rights are being violated, but when you hear how some fight & oppose, you would think that EVERY AMERICAN has no more rights of privacy. THOSE WHO ARE AFFILIATED WITH TERROISTS HAVE NO RIGHTS IN MY OPINIONS ANYMORE!!!!! ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE IN THIS COUNTRY. Go get them President Bush, & I hope that whomever becomes the next president of our nation will TAKE THE FIGHT TO THEM. Can this sort of thing be mistreated, of course, almost anything in government can, THAT'S WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO HAVE THE RIGHT PERSON IN THE RIGHT JOB. God Bless America, P.G.

Teach Intelligent Design as we...

I just heard about the judge chosing to rule that I.D. (Intelligent Design) cannot be taught at the public school in Dover County, PA. THAT IS SO ABSURD. I'm so sick of the 'evolution science' IDIOTS getting so scared when their 'THEORY' (that is really all that it is) is ever challenged. I cannot believe that they stick with that lie. Why not teach them both side by side & let the kids & parents decide which one they want to believe. When will they learn? When will they learn?
I think that it is an absolute INSULT to even think that the human race evolved from the monkey/ape/gorilla or what have you, and if so....why aren't there more monkeys evolving today???? as a matter of fact, you can see in nature evidence of 'negative' evolving (born without a wing, not perfect, etc.), but you see NO EVIDENCE of 'positive' evolving (things becoming better)....I wonder why that is, probably because the theory of evolution is a joke. Just read or watch any videos by Dr. Ham, or even better, Dr. Kent hovind at www.drdino.com. "whah, whah, they want to teach something besides a lie (evolution)"
